As long as it’s done carefully, cleaning pavers with a pressure washer is ok. However, it’s important to remember that after the process, you need to apply a sealant again; which is a substance that considerably increases pavers’ durability.

Clean Pavers With Pressure Washer: Step-by-Step Guide
Start by removing any furniture, plants, or debris from the paver surface to ensure a thorough cleaning. Use a stiff-bristle brush or broom to sweep away loose dirt, leaves, and debris from the paver surface. This helps prevent clogging of the pressure washer.
If there are stubborn stains or heavy dirt buildup, pre-soak the pavers with water before using the pressure washer. This can help loosen the grime and make the cleaning process more effective.
Prepare a paver cleaner solution, always according to the manufacturer’s instructions, and apply it to the pavers using a sprayer or a watering can. Ensure even coverage over the entire surface. Allow the solution to sit on the pavers for about 10–15 minutes.
Use a wide-angle nozzle, such as a 25 or 40 degree nozzle. This helps distribute the pressure over a larger area, reducing the risk of damage. Avoid using a 0-degree (zero-degree) nozzle, as it concentrates the pressure into a small area and can potentially cause damage to the pavers.

Clean Pavers With Pressure Washer Make Them Look New Again
Pressure washing is a great way to make pavers look new again, but it is not the only way. Periodic cleaning is one of the secrets to keeping pavers looking fresh for longer. For starters, take a few minutes every day to sweep the pavers’ surface. That simple fact alone, sweeping the surface, will help remove the thinner and superficial layers of dirt, such as dust particles. By sweeping the surface you’re likely to eliminate seeds, which can germinate in weeds, and spores that can become mold. Just make sure to use a broom with soft bristles, so that it will not scratch the pavers’ surface.
Washing the surface with a water hose is another good tip. Similarly, the water eliminates much of the deposited dust and other residues from the surface.
Finally, for stains, you can use a paver cleaning solution. Take a bucket, mix in water and dish soap, grab a rag or sponge, dip it in the solution, and apply some elbow grease to clean the spot.
